If you’re reading this page, the odds are pretty good that you just received a cryptic note from me (Bruce Kasanoff). This will explain a bit more about Bend Reality.

We are a small group of people who are doing our best to be expansive, positive and curious. Right now, “small” means about 10 in Bend, Oregon and another couple of dozen amazing souls scattered around the world.

Our numbers include:

We get together occasionally (face-to-face in Bend, and via Zoom for everyone else). We have deep conversations and we work hard to see each other as we wish to be seen.

Bend Reality is my pay-it-forward project. It fulfills a commitment that I made to Marshall Goldsmith when he accepted me into his 100 Coaches community. There’s no money or business model involved. We are just people who cherish the time we spend with each other.

Perspective is everything

Simple example: let’s say we show you a cow and your first thought is: milk (and cheese!).

Someone else says: steak.

You visit India and they say: that cow is sacred.

Same creature. Very different perspectives.

We are eight billion different humans experiencing reality through eight billion different lenses, but each of us will one day get to the realization that love unites us, because we are all divine love.

(Yes, even the jerks and the evil ones and the guy who just swore at you.)

If you spoke with every member of our group, you would hear many different perspectives. There is no one “correct” Bend Reality point of view.

But, speaking as Bruce, I would like to give you a quick sense of the starting point that has motivated me to create and grow Bend Reality…

Everything originates from love, everything ends in love. Love is everything that you see around us. When you see a painting, realize the painter was in the state of conscious love while painting. They employed the universal force called love, the universal energy.

When you go to a concert and see a performer who gets 10,000 people on their feet, you are experiencing love.

You can be an inspiration, you can be light, you can be a voice for reason. You can be a voice for love. And whoever is ready to listen to that will be experiencing love.
